Description: Hecogenin acetate is a steroid sapogenin that has anthelmintic and antinociceptive properties. Hecogenin acetate inhibits development of mechanical hyperalgesia induced by carrageenan, TNF-α, dopamine , and prostaglandin E2 in mice.
